Potato Head has commissioned leading Indonesian artist Eko Nugroho to create a nine-metre high art installation made entirely from local plastic waste. Collected from around the archipelago, the colourful piece highlights the current issues that Bali and the rest of the country is facing with plastic more visibly polluting its oceans and community spaces every year.
The exhibition launch will take place on the roof of ESCALIER, with speakers Eko Nugroho, Sean Nino, Olivier Pouillon, Febri Pratama, Kevin Kumala and Dan Mitchell. Located on the facade of Potato Head Beach Club, the piece will be viewed by the thousands of people who visit Potato Head over the summer period. In collaboration with Avani, Merah Putih Hijau and Gringo Trash Tech.
