Fine contemporary art pieces by leading Indonesian or Indonesia-based creatives will make up the debut exhibition for our brand new gallery space, located in Potato Head Beach Club’s retail avenue. A collaboration to celebrate the launch of VICE Indonesia, the exhibition will feature 15 original and diverse artworks.
Cartoonish pop-art-like pieces by Wedhar Riyadi, surreal dreamscapes from Fajar Domingo, tropical illustrations courtesy of Stevie Anderson and haunting monochromes by Ade Deni Ramdani – these are just four of 12 extraordinary artists to exhibit. Also on display will be artworks by VICE Indonesia’s award-winning art director and photojournalist Iyas Lawrence.
Running for two months, the collection will officially launch on Wednesday 28 June from 6PM and will be open for public viewing.
