Bali is facing an environmental and potential health disaster with the trash on the much loved island.
Keep Bali Clean is a campaign aimed at reducing Bali’s current littering problem. Through Donations and sales Keep Bali Clean have already distributed over 30,000 reusable bags to consumers in Bali. Keep Bali Clean is currently running an anti-littering campaign on local TV station DEWATA TV. The campaign is funded through T shirt sales and donations from individuals and business. Their target is to have 4 commercials playing daily.
In support of these projects a CHARITY SURF CONTEST will be held on SUNDAY 9th APRIL, commencing at 4pm and running though until after sunset. Supported by LOKO Bali and FINNS Beach Club, the event will feature 16 of Bali’s best battling it out in the waves of Pantai Berawa, directly in front of Finns Beach Club.
Entry to Finns Beach Club will be available via a donation to Keep Bali Clean (minimum Rp 50,000) or purchase of Keep Bali Clean merchandise including caps and tshirts, available on the day!
There will be raffles and prizes and the chance to learn more about this wonderful campaign and all they are doing to Keep Bali Clean.
