By popular demand, we are very excited to host another performance of amazingly talented cello player, "CELLOMANO".
Cellomano” is a music project by Cellist Algimiro Cesarino, using modern techniques on an electric and acoustic cello. More specifically, he incorporates his classical music training in his own melodic style using an electronic loop-machine, creating haunting polyphonic melodies that linger in the memory of the listener.
Algimiro Cesarino began his musical studies at the Conservatory Juan Manuel Olivares in Caracas, Venezuela, at the age of seven. He continued his studies at the Conservatory Simon Bolivar, joined Symphony Orchestra of Nueva Esparta, and has performed in numerous concerts.
He also spent time in Europe performing with Musikschule der Stadt Linz, Austria and participated on tours of Spain with Camerata Salzburg Austrian.
Currently based in Bali, he is studying traditional Indonesian music (karawitan), and has been performing in Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surakarta, and Bali.
