Day 1 :
Welcoming Dinner & Opening Ceremony By : Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra, SE, M.Si Major city of Denpasar With Traditional Dance & Performance Opening Exhibition
Day 2 :
06 – 10 Am Distance ride (50 km)
10 – 11 Am Lunch on the pit stop Free afternoon on the Sanur Beach.
04 – 06 Pm Ride on the Beach “the Sanur Shore Slow Sunset Spin”(SSSSS) Invited all participant to plant mangrove tree as part of the environmental program
07 – 10 Pm a thematic dinner: Friday the 13th
Day 3 :
08 – 10 am “Vintage Bicycle Village” Opening Jumble Sale Market & Souvenir Craft
10 – 11 Am Races at the central park “ Bajra Sandhi Monument ” (traffic free)
11 Am Ride to picnic lunch at the park
07 – 10 Pm a thematic dinner “Bring back the 60s dinner on the beach”
Day 4:
07- 09 Am Costume Ride 20 km Join the Vintage Bicycle Village
12 Am Lunch at Pool Party
04 – 06 Pm AGM Meeting
07 – 10 Pm Gala Dinner Presentation of the race prizes.
Day 5 :
07 Am we leave in buses to Ubud for the day
09 – 11 Am Ubud Monkey Forest free explore center of ubud
12 Noon arrive at Elephant Safari Park For Lunch
04 – 05 Pm Watching Traditional Barong Dance
05 – 06 Pm Refreshment break and change of costume.
07 – 10 Pm Farewell Dinner at Ubud Royal Palace
10 Pm return to Grand Bali Beach Hotel in Sanur.
International Race
Events Race that will be held in IVCA 2018 include:
1. The feature race of the day, the International Penny Farthing Championship (Indonesia Trophy).
- Penny Farthing Original (also IVCA World Champions trophy)
- Penny Farthing Modern/Replica
Class category :
Slow race (Heats of 4, last to finish wins)
Gentlemen’s Championship (4 laps, heats of 4)
Ladies’ Championship (2 laps, Heats of 4)
Juniors, Under 16 (2 laps)
Veterans 50-64 years (2 laps)
Veterans 65+ (2 laps)
2. Bicycle Classic Race
- Pre 1900 (including Velocipede, Tricycle, safety bicycle era)
- Vintage bicycle up to 1960; including roadsters
- Racing bikes 1960-1985
- American heavy weight : Including baloon tyre, tank bike and muscle bike
- Tandem bicycle
Separate championship races for gentlemans & ladies, juniors (under 16), veterans 1 (50+), veterans 2 (60+)
Class of category :
Sprint (best time speed)
Slow race (last over the line wins)
Slalom (two at a time around witches’ hats)
Note :
The race program may need to be based on the number of entries. Helmets compulsory, but please dress to complement the age of your bicycle. Prizes for best presented rider and best dressed spectators. Badges & Trophy awarded to first 3 placegetters plus Souvenir for Champions.
